The Motivation Behind RecruitED
The path to college athletics shouldn't depend on who you know, how much your family can spend, or whether your school has the resources to guide you. For many student athletes, the recruiting process is confusing. Important information is scattered across websites, advice often conflicts, and professional recruiting services are simply out of reach for many families. RecruitED was created to help change that.
Our goal is to make the college recruiting process more accessible by providing free, trustworthy resources for student-athletes and their families. Through recruiting guides, educational content, and practical tools, we aim to hep every athlete make informed decisions about their future. We believe that opportunity should be determined by dedication and potential - not by access to expensive resources or insider knowledge. Every athlete deserves the chance to pursue their goal. We're to help make that possible.

How many schools should I reach out to during recruiting?
Athletes should reach out to at least ten schools. These schools should vary in level. While sometimes less exciting, having offers from 'safety' schools can really help achieve the offers from your higher choices.
What should I research before emailing a college?
Before reaching out you should learn the coaches names, recent results, recruiting needs, academic programs, and financial classification.
How do I know if a college is financially realistic for my family?
Look past the listed tuition price and research the financial aid process of the school alongside the scholarships and net price estimate. Every school has a cost calculator on their website that estimates the financial package your family would be given should you go there.
What mistakes hurt athletes the most?
Common mistakes are waiting to long to start, sending generic messages, focusing only on big-name schools, ignoring academics and finances, and lack of communication.
